Philip has been in the auction and valuations industries for over 45 years specialising in valuations and disposals of fine art, jewellery, and collectables.

With strong social awareness he relentlessly focusses on community upliftment programs, raising funds for worthy initiatives and charity events.

A keen golfer having played with celebrities and sporting icons including Gary Player, Sally Little, Vincent Tshabalala, F.W. de Klerk, Francois Pienaar, Brian Mitchell, Bobby Skinstad, Werna Greeff, Christian Stewart and others.

He is the Vice Chairperson of the Auction Institute of South Africa (S.A.I.A) for the past eight years and holds the position of Head of Governance.

Appointed by the Dept of Justice as an Appraiser to the High Court of S.A., a registered Commissioner of Oaths, Professional Commercial Mediator (R.I.C.S),  he is a preferred service provider to various Government departments, Treasury, Dept of Public Works, Parastatals, Financial Institutions, Corporations and high nett worth clients.
